Zest is working with an outstanding primary school in Stechford, Birmingham who are looking to recruit for a Teaching assistant to work between EYFS and KS1. The schoolwork like the successful candidate to start in October 2022 for a minimum of 2 terms with the potential to extend.
The school is a busy 3 form entry primary who have a strong team of staff who put the children at the heart of everything they do. The school has a growing reputation in the area providing all children with the access to a creative and engaging curriculum.
The ideal candidate must be comfortable working between children in both KS1 and KS2 who need extra support. The candidate must also be an enthusiast individual who is passionate about supporting children.
The pay for this role will be between £65-£80 a day depending on the experience of the candidate.
All applicants must be NVQ level 2 qualified (or above) in a relevant subject or have a minimum of 3 months experience within the last 5 years.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
