Learning Support Assistant.
We have a fantastic opportunity for a Learning Support Assistant in a special educational needs school located in Cannock. This is a full-time position starting September 2022 and will continue into the new academic year.
The school caters for children from the age of five to thirteen with a range of complex needs including a range of social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) needs and also pupils who have been diagnosed with autism or demonstrate behaviours associated with autism (ASC).
This is a popular SEND school which has a strong reputation within the local community. The school benefits from a passionate team of teachers and staff who work continuously to provide a support and positive learning experience for all.
The successful Learning Support Assistant must have experience supporting individuals with special educational needs or have experience in a similar environment such as a care setting. You must be confident to work in small groups with a range of age groups and learning needs, on some occasions you may be required to work 1:1 to support specific children.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
