Learning Support Assistant, Rugeley.

A lovely special educational needs school in Rugeley are looking for a Learning Support Assistant. This role will start in October 2022 and require you to work Tuesday-Thursday, 8:30 to 15:30.

The school caters for children from the age of five to nineteen who have associated learning difficulties within the moderate to severe range. Many have had an unsuccessful previous journey through local authority, special schools and PRUs. It is important that you can quickly build positive relationships the students.

This is a popular school which encourages all children to develop into independent, respectful, and confident individuals. The role will require the candidate to work with and support small groups of children who require additional support in the classroom. You will also be required to work well alongside the class teacher to support with general activities.

The role:

• You must have experience working with individuals with special educational needs or in a similar setting
• You will be committed to the safeguarding and well-being of all pupils and provide exceptional learning and support
• Candidates must have excellent communication skills, be eager to learn, have a positive attitude and work well as part of a team
