KS1 Teacher

Job Description

Are you passionate about inspiring young learners and making a lasting impact on their educational journey? Zest Education is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic KS1 teacher to join a well-established primary school in Telford.

In this role, you’ll be part of a dynamic, inclusive school community, fostering a love for learning in students. We’re looking for a qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and a deep understanding of the KS1 curriculum.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create engaging, differentiated lessons to meet the diverse needs of students.
  • Foster a positive and supportive learning environment, nurturing academic and emotional growth.
  • Assess and track student progress, offering feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with the teaching team to develop effective teaching strategies and resources.
  • Build strong relationships with parents and carers, ensuring clear communication and collaboration.

Requirements:

  • QTS and relevant teaching credentials.
  • Experience teaching KS1 students with in-depth knowledge of the curriculum.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • A passion for education and a commitment to creating an inclusive learning environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
