Nursery Nurse

Job Description

Zest are looking for a full time Nursery Nurse to work at a Nursery in Milford. A start date is to be confirmed.

This nursery take children from six months of age all the way to pre-school. Their mission is to provide child-centred nursery care, focused on fostering curiosity, creativity and confidence in a developmentally appropriate and resource rich play-based environment. They aim to create a warm, home from home learning environment that allows children to learn through discovery and experimentation. Their staff oversee children’s play to always encourage enquiry whilst ensuring children’s safety at all times.

A job in early years and childcare is unique and rewarding. You get to be part of a child’s early education and help to shape their future. No matter what the day brings, you’ll feel joy in seeing children grow, learn and flourish. And there are lots of different types of roles.

Your role will be to:

  • provide early education in a safe, fun, engaging environment
  • support children with their learning and development
  • work with young children across a range of ages
  • focus on a specific age group such as babies
  • work with children with additional needs

To be successful in this role:

  • You must have experience working in a nursery / early years setting
  • Ideally, you will have a Level 3 in Childcare or above
  • you must have a hardworking can do attitude
  • you must be kind, caring and nurturing

Pay will be dependent on the hours confirmed

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
