Are you a passionate and dedicated Teacher looking for a fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of children with special educational needs?
We are currently seeking a dynamic Teacher to join our reputable special educational needs school located in Lichfield. This full-time role offers an immediate start with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30-15:30.
As a Teacher at this school, you will have the chance to work flexibly and tailor your teaching approach to meet the individual needs of each student.

The ideal candidate will hold a degree and Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), demonstrating a calm, engaging, and resilient teaching style. While previous experience in an SEN/ASC environment is desirable, we value excellent teaching skills, motivation, and personal qualities above all else. Key requirements include:
– Educated to GCSE level and A level, or equivalent
– QTS or equivalent
– Experience working with pupils with SEN, particularly ASC (highly desirable)
– Experience managing challenging behaviors in students (highly desirable)
– Experience collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team or therapists (highly desirable)

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
