Zest Education are recruiting for a Teaching Assistant to join a ‘Good’ primary school in Shepherds Bush from September 2025.
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive Teaching Assistant to provide dedicated 1:1 support for a Year 1 pupil with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This role is crucial in helping the child access the curriculum and develop essential social and emotional skills. Full time role, hours 08:30-16:00pm.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver tailored support to meet the individual needs of the pupil.
Implement strategies to support communication, social interaction, and emotional regulation.
Collaborate with the class teacher and SENCO to develop and monitor Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Create a structured and inclusive learning environment.
Assist with classroom activities and adapt materials to suit the pupil’s learning style.
Provide feedback on the pupil’s progress and well-being
