Zest Education is supporting a well-established independent school in North West London in their search for an experienced Science Teacher to join their team from September 2025. This is a full-time, permanent role offering a salary in line with the Outer London pay scale, based on national teacher pay scales.

The school caters to students aged 11 to 21, providing a focused and respectful learning environment. With smaller class sizes and minimal behaviour management issues, teachers are able to dedicate their time and energy to high-quality teaching and student progress.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver engaging and challenging Science lessons across Key Stages 3–4 (KS5 desirable)

  • Plan, assess, and monitor student progress to support academic achievement

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school and department

Candidate Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential

  • Minimum of 3 years’ teaching experience in London

  • Strong subject knowledge in Science (specialism welcomed in Biology, Chemistry, or Physics)

  • Proven ability to raise attainment and support student success

  • A collaborative and committed approach to teaching and professional development
