Year 2 Class Teacher (Full-Time)
Location: Primary School on the Outskirts of Walmley
Start Date: September 2025
Contract: Temporary (with potential to become permanent at the school directly through Zest)

Zest education are seeking a passionate Year 2 Class Teacher to join our friendly and supportive primary school on the outskirts of Walmley, starting in September 2025.
This is a full-time, temporary position initially, with the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.
Teaching a vibrant and eager Year 2 class
Delivering engaging and inclusive lessons in line with the national curriculum
Creating a warm, supportive, and safe learning environment
Working collaboratively with a committed and experienced team of staff
Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community
A qualified teacher with QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1 (preferably Year 2)
A strong understanding of the primary curriculum
Excellent classroom management and communication skills
A proactive, caring, and flexible approach to teaching and learning
A welcoming and inclusive school with a community feel
Supportive leadership and opportunities for professional development
Well-resourced classrooms and a focus on wellbeing for staff and pupils

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
