We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Science Teacher to join a secondary school that we closely work with in Telford for a maternity cover position starting in September 2025. As a Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging lessons to students, as well as assessing and marking their work.
Key Responsibilities:
– Plan and deliver high-quality science lessons to secondary school students
– Create a stimulating and inclusive learning environment
– Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
– Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a cohesive and effective curriculum
– Attend meetings and training sessions as required
Requirements:
– Qualified teacher status (QTS) or equivalent
– Strong knowledge and understanding of the science curriculum
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to engage and inspire students of all abilities
– Experience in planning and marking lessons
