About the role

We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistants to join our Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3 teams. As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide whole-class support, working closely with the class teacher to deliver engaging lessons and ensure smooth daily routines.

  • Offer targeted support for pupils with Special Educational Needs, including those in our specialist Rainbow Room provision (autism-focused).

  • Assist with small group interventions in reading, phonics, maths and social skills.

  • Help deliver a calm, inclusive learning environment that reflects our school values of Respect, Responsibility, Honesty, Kindness and Courage.

  • Use daily formative assessment and feedback to support pupil progress.

  • Participate in planning, preparation and evaluation alongside the class teacher.

  • Support behaviour for learning, adapting approaches to meet the needs of a diverse pupil population.
