Part-Time PPA & Leadership Cover Teacher (Autumn Term) – Balsall Heath

The Role

• Position: Part-Time PPA (Planning, Preparation & Assessment) and leadership cover teacher
• Structure: 2 days per week, with flexible scheduling for the right candidate
• Year Groups: Covering KS1 and KS2 PPA sessions as well as providing essential leadership support time
• Term: September – December 2025 (autumn term only)
• Flexibility: Ideal for a teacher seeking a balanced role alongside other commitments

What You’ll Do

• Lead PPA sessions across KS1 and KS2, delivering high-quality, engaging lessons
• Cover leadership time, supporting key staff with administrative and pastoral duties
• Maintain classroom continuity and high expectations in learning, behavior, and progress
• Collaborate with teachers and senior staff to ensure smooth curriculum delivery
• Adapt to different class needs, ensuring all pupils feel motivated and supported

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified teacher (QTS or equivalent), with experience in KS1 and/or KS2
• Strong classroom management skills and the ability to engage children effectively
• Excellent communication and organisational abilities
• A flexible and adaptable attitude, with willingness to support across year groups
• Enthusiasm to contribute to a positive school culture and teamwork
