Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a school in the Moseley/Hall Green area to recruit a dedicated and compassionate Part-Time Teaching Assistant to join their outstanding resource base provision, ‘The Nest’.
About the Role
‘The Nest’ is a nurturing and inclusive space within the school, designed to support children with a range of additional needs. As a Teaching Assistant in this provision, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality, tailored support that helps every child to thrive both academically and emotionally.
This role is part-time, working every Wednesday and Thursday, and is confirmed to run for the full academic year. It’s a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to make a lasting impact in a supportive, structured setting.
Your responsibilities will include:

Supporting individual and small groups of children with additional needs

Assisting the class teacher and SENCO in planning and delivering personalised interventions

Encouraging positive social interactions and emotional regulation

Providing a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment
About You
We are looking for someone who is:

Passionate about working with children with additional needs

Patient, caring and resilient

Experienced (or has a strong interest) in SEND support

Able to build strong, trusting relationships with children and staff alike
Relevant qualifications and/or experience in a similar role is desirable, but not essential – the right attitude, enthusiasm, and commitment to inclusive education are what really count.
