🌟 EYFS Teaching Assistant – Full Time – Solihull 🌟
Location: Solihull
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:40pm
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications
Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Solihull to recruit a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting this September.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Early Years team and play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of young learners during their formative years.
About the Role:
As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and the wider EYFS team to support the learning and development of children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Your duties will include:
Supporting individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and development
Assisting in the preparation of classroom resources and learning environments
Contributing to planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being
Supporting assessment and observations alongside teaching staff
Requirements:
To be considered for this role, you must:
Hold a relevant VQ Level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)
Have substantial experience working within an EYFS setting
Demonstrate strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach
Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently where required
Show commitment to supporting children’s development in line with the EYFS framework

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
