Location: Solihull
Start Date: 1st September 2025
Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:15am – 3:40pm
Contract Type: Full-Time
Salary: Competitive, dependent on experience and qualifications

Zest Education is proud to be working in partnership with a welcoming and forward-thinking primary school in Solihull to recruit a dedicated and experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant for a full-time role starting this September.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive Early Years team and play a crucial role in shaping the educational journey of young learners during their formative years.

About the Role:

As an EYFS Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the class teacher and the wider EYFS team to support the learning and development of children in a nurturing and stimulating environment. Your duties will include:

  • Supporting individual pupils and small groups to promote learning and development

  • Assisting in the preparation of classroom resources and learning environments

  • Contributing to planning and delivering engaging and age-appropriate activities

  • Promoting positive behaviour and emotional well-being

  • Supporting assessment and observations alongside teaching staff

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you must:

  • Hold a relevant VQ Level 3 qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent)

  • Have substantial experience working within an EYFS setting

  • Demonstrate strong communication skills and a positive, proactive approach

  • Be able to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently where required

  • Show commitment to supporting children’s development in line with the EYFS framework
