Zest education are working with a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Castle Bromwich who is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant to join the team from October 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant school community that values every child and supports staff in their professional development.
As a KS1 Teaching Assistant, you will:
Work closely with the class teacher to support the learning and development of children aged 5–7.
Provide one-to-one and small group support.
Help to create a stimulating and engaging classroom environment.
Support children’s social and emotional development.
Assist in the preparation of learning materials and classroom displays.
Has experience working with children in an educational setting (KS1 experience preferred).
Is patient, nurturing, and proactive.
Can work effectively as part of a team.
Holds a relevant qualification (e.g., Level 2 or 3 Teaching Assistant or equivalent).
Has a good understanding of safeguarding and child development.
