Zest Education is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Smethwick for a confident and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA). This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated individual who is passionate about supporting teaching and learning across the school.
Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver planned lessons to whole classes in the teacher’s absence.
• Provide small group and 1:1 support to pupils, including those with additional needs.
• Assist with planning and preparing resources under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Monitor pupil progress and contribute to assessment and reporting where appropriate.
• Work collaboratively with teaching staff and other support staff to ensure high-quality learning experiences.
Requirements:
• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience delivering whole-class teaching.
• Previous experience working in a UK primary school setting.
• Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• A flexible, proactive, and enthusiastic approach to supporting pupils and teachers alike.
