Zest Education is recruiting enthusiastic and qualified Level 3 Early Years Nursery Practitioners to work in nurseries across Tamworth, Sutton, and Atherstone. This is a fantastic opportunity for dedicated professionals looking for flexible, pre-booked work with the potential to secure a permanent role in the future.
As a Nursery Practitioner, you will be working in a variety of well-established nurseries within your designated areas, providing essential support in early years education. Your role will involve working closely with children aged 0-5, ensuring they are engaged, supported, and encouraged in their learning and development. The nurseries are known for their nurturing, inclusive environments where children’s wellbeing and education are paramount.
Contract: Pre-booked, Flexible Hours (8:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM)
Key Responsibilities:
Support children in their daily routines and learning activities, ensuring a safe and stimulating environment.
Promote positive interactions and foster children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development.
Assist with planning and implementing activities that support the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues.
Ensure that all safeguarding and health & safety guidelines are adhered to at all times.
Requirements:
Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (or equivalent).
Proven experience working with young children in a nursery setting.
Knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) curriculum.
A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
Ability to work well as part of a team and independently when needed.
Flexibility to work either from 8:30 AM – 4:00 PM or 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.
This is a pre-booked position, which means you will know in advance where you will be working on the days you are available. If you are interested in securing a permanent role, there is also the opportunity for this temporary work to lead to a full-time, permanent position within the nurseries.

Zest Education are an APSCo audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
