Contract: Full-time, long-term (until at least the New Year)
Salary: Competitive, based on experience

Zest Education is proud to be working alongside a rapidly improving and well-resourced primary school in Northfield, who are looking to appoint a resilient and committed Year 5 Class Teacher to join their team immediately.

About the Role:

This is a full-time teaching position within a challenging yet rewarding Year 5 class of 30 pupils. The school is seeking a teacher who can hit the ground running, maintain clear routines, and foster a positive learning environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a creative and engaging curriculum that inspires curiosity and supports academic progress. You will be part of a collaborative KS2 team, with dedicated time and support for planning, as well as the opportunity to share ideas and draw on collective expertise.

Key Requirements:

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential

  • Experience teaching in KS2, ideally in upper Key Stage 2

  • Proven ability to manage behaviour in a firm but nurturing manner

  • Strong classroom presence and the ability to build positive relationships quickly

  • A team player who is happy to contribute ideas and support others
