About the Role:
This is a full-time teaching position within a challenging yet rewarding Year 5 class of 30 pupils. The school is seeking a teacher who can hit the ground running, maintain clear routines, and foster a positive learning environment.
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering a creative and engaging curriculum that inspires curiosity and supports academic progress. You will be part of a collaborative KS2 team, with dedicated time and support for planning, as well as the opportunity to share ideas and draw on collective expertise.
Key Requirements:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential
Experience teaching in KS2, ideally in upper Key Stage 2
Proven ability to manage behaviour in a firm but nurturing manner
Strong classroom presence and the ability to build positive relationships quickly
A team player who is happy to contribute ideas and support others
