Zest Education is proud to be working with a forward-thinking school in Smethwick that is looking to appoint a qualified HLTA to join their team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and experienced support professional ready to take on increased responsibility in a rewarding environment.
As a HLTA, you’ll play a key role in supporting teaching and learning across the school, delivering planned lessons, and providing targeted intervention where needed.
Key Responsibilities:
Delivering lessons across various year groups, following teacher planning and curriculum guidance.
Leading small group and one-to-one sessions to support pupil progress.
Assisting with assessment and tracking of pupils under teacher direction.
Supporting the classroom environment and stepping in during staff absences.
Collaborating with teachers, SENCOs, and other staff to deliver inclusive education.
Requirements:
HLTA status or equivalent qualification (Level 4 or above).
Proven experience supporting in a school setting, ideally across KS1 and KS2.
Strong understanding of the national curriculum and classroom delivery.
Confident in delivering lessons and managing whole-class responsibilities when required.
Excellent communication, organization, and behavior management skills.
