We are looking for a caring, consistent, and proactive 1:1 Teaching Assistant to support a Year 1 pupil with autism. This part-time role is ideal for someone with experience or a strong interest in special educational needs. The position is available for an immediate start and will continue for the full academic year.
Provide 1:1 support for a Year 1 child with autism
Work primarily in a breakout room to deliver tailored, engaging activities
Support the child in building routine, focus, and confidence
Use positive behaviour strategies to manage occasional challenges
Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and wider support staff
Hours: 9:00am – 1:30pm, Monday to Friday, term-time only
Friendly and inclusive mainstream primary school in Hammersmith and Fulham
Strong commitment to supporting children with additional needs
