Zest education are looking for a dedicated Nursery Manager to lead our friendly, vibrant nursery in Handsworth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for providing outstanding childcare and education.
As Nursery Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of the nursery, ensuring it provides a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children to learn and grow. You’ll lead a team of qualified practitioners, manage operations effectively, and maintain strong relationships with parents, staff, and regulatory bodies.
Oversee the smooth running of the nursery and ensure compliance with Ofsted standards.
Lead, motivate, and develop a team of early years practitioners.
Manage budgets, staffing, and occupancy levels effectively.
Ensure the highest standards of care, safety, and education are delivered at all times.
Build strong partnerships with parents, carers, and the local community.
Implement and monitor policies, procedures, and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
Minimum of Level 3 or above in Early Years Education (Level 5 or Degree preferred).
Proven experience in a Nursery Manager or Deputy Manager role.
Excellent understanding of EYFS, safeguarding, and health & safety regulations.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills.
