Job Description

Are you a passionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding role in Islington? ZEST Education is seeking an experienced and empathetic SEN TA to join a highly supportive secondary school that provides outstanding education for students with special educational needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)

About the Role

As a Special Educational Needs Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Provide 1:1 and small-group support to students with additional needs

  • Assist with the implementation of personalised learning plans

  • Support students’ emotional, social, and academic development

  • Collaborate closely with teachers, therapists, and pastoral staff

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and nurturing classroom environment

  • Encourage independence and confidence in students’ learning

This full-time role is available to start immediately and will continue until the end of the academic year, with potential for extension.

About the School

The school is a specialist provision in Islington, supporting young people aged 13–19 with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), social communication difficulties, and mild to moderate learning needs.
