Zest Education is recruiting a full-time Year 2 Class Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking primary school in Lichfield. This fixed-term teaching role will start in April 2026 and run until the end of the academic year.

As a Year 2 Class Teacher, you will:
Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality lessons tailored to pupils’ needs
Monitor and assess pupil progress, providing feedback to support learning
Foster a positive, inclusive classroom environment that promotes curiosity and confidence
Collaborate with colleagues to share best practice and contribute to whole-school initiatives
Support the wellbeing and development of all pupils in your care
We are looking for a teacher who has:
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Experience teaching in Key Stage 1, preferably Year 2
Strong classroom management skills and a creative approach to learning
A passionate, patient, and nurturing approach to supporting pupils
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team-focused environment
A welcoming and inclusive school community
Supportive leadership and opportunities for professional development
Strong focus on pupil wellbeing and pastoral care
