Lunchtime Supervisor

Job Description

Zest Education is recruiting a Lunchtime Supervisor to work at a friendly and welcoming primary school in Cannock. This is an ongoing, part-time role starting after February half term, ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and being part of a school community.

About the Role

  • Role: Lunchtime Supervisor

  • Location: Cannock, Staffordshire

  • Start Date: After February half term

  • Days: Monday to Friday

  • Hours: 11:45am – 1:30pm

  • Contract: Ongoing

You will play an important role in ensuring pupils have a safe, happy, and well-supervised lunchtime, both in the dining hall and on the playground.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise pupils during lunch and playtime

  • Support positive behaviour and social interaction

  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of all children

  • Help maintain a calm and enjoyable lunchtime environment

  • Work as part of a supportive school team

Requirements

  • Experience working with children (desirable but not essential)

  • Friendly, reliable, and approachable manner

  • Ability to commit to Monday–Friday hours

  • Strong communication skills

  • Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
