Zest Education are working in partnership with a welcoming and supportive primary school in Tamworth to recruit a passionate and dedicated Year 2 Teacher for a full-time role starting in the Summer Term.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic teacher to join a committed team and make a real impact in a Year 2 classroom during a key stage in pupils’ learning journey.
Full-time position (Monday to Friday)
Summer Term start
Teaching a Year 2 class
Planning, preparing and delivering engaging lessons in line with the KS1 curriculum
Assessing and tracking pupil progress
Creating a positive, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
Hold Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Have recent experience teaching within KS1, ideally Year 2
Demonstrate strong knowledge of the KS1 curriculum and SATs preparation
Show excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
Be committed, adaptable and enthusiastic about primary education
Have a genuine passion for supporting children’s progress and development
