Zest Education needs you! We are looking to recruit a learning support assistant for a lovely school located in Birmingham. This school caters for children aged two to eleven whom have a diagnosis of PMLD, and physical needs and strives to provide the best possible education to their students. This school offers individualised support to the students with a tailored and modified curriculum in order for all students to access their learning and offers a specialised sensory curriculum for the more profound learners. The large, dedicated and committed staff team hold excellent relationships with the students, carers and external bodies ensuring the best service is provided and the students are at the heart of the service.
This is a full-time role requiring you to work Monday to Friday 8:30AM-15:30PM supporting alongside the teacher and other learning support assistants. You will be required to work within small groups of students and on a one-to-one basis and due to the age range of these students, you must be flexible across all age groups.
The role:
– We are looking for someone with previous special educational needs experience
– You will need to be confident with working with student with PMLD.
– Due to this school catering for a variety of ages, you will need to be adaptable
