Classroom Support Assistant
Zest Education is delighted to be exclusively working with a large special educational needs school in Cannock. The school are seeking a Classroom Support Assistant, this role is full time and is due to start in January 2023. This role is for one term with the strong possibility of an extension for the full academic year.
This school caters for children from the age of two to elven with moderate learning difficulties (MLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), Autism (ASC) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD). The ideal candidate must be passionate about working with students with special educational needs and have previous experience of working in a special school or similar environment.
This is a ‘good’ rated school and is improving within academic and attainment levels and is continually looking to ensure their students develop into respectable and inspiring individuals. The successful candidate will be required to hold strong communication skills to effectively feedback to the main teacher on student’s progress. Ability to work well in a team is essential in the role, contributing to a fun and engaging learning environment for all children.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
