Deputy Nursery Manager – Edgbaston

Zest Education is on the lookout for a full time and experienced Deputy Nursery Manager for a nursery setting located in Edgbaston.

Hours: 7:15am – 6:15pm, Monday to Friday
Pay: £14-£16 per hour

We are looking for individuals wishing to find a long term permanent position within our unique and growing company, also wanting to develop themselves professionally within a nursery environment.
The Deputy Manager position holds the responsibility of being a key holder and DSL.

The Role:

• Maintain excellent standards of childcare across the setting and best practice.
• Promote positive relationships and role modelling positive behaviour throughout the setting.
• Ensuring children’s emotional well-being to promote their confidence and self- esteem.
• Oversee the effective planning and preparation of activities.
• Ensuring that children’s individual needs are being met.
• Ensure that a caring and stimulating environment is provided for children, taking into account all children’s individual needs.
• Increase and maintain high occupancy levels by being part of our open days.

Experience Required:

• Minimum Level 3 in Early Childhood Studies or equivalent.
• At least 12 months in a Room Senior or similar position experience

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications.
