Zest Education is currently recruiting for a full-time Year 2 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Lichfield. This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within a Year 2 classroom, starting as soon as possible and continuing until the end of the academic year.
The school is seeking a supportive and proactive Key Stage 1 Teaching Assistant who can work closely with the class teacher to support pupils’ learning and development within a Year 2 class.
This Teaching Assistant job in Lichfield will involve supporting pupils both individually and in small groups, helping to ensure all children can access the curriculum and make positive progress.
Key responsibilities include:
Supporting teaching and learning within a Year 2 classroom
Assisting the class teacher with lesson activities and classroom organisation
Working with small groups or individual pupils to reinforce learning
Supporting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and phonics development
Helping to create a positive, inclusive learning environment
Assisting with classroom behaviour management and pupil engagement

Have experience working in a primary school setting
Have experience supporting pupils within Key Stage 1 (desirable)

Hold a relevant Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent experience
