Year 2 Class Teacher

Salary: MPS/UPS (dependent on experience)

Zest Education are seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Year 2 Class Teacher to join our welcoming and supportive primary school in Sutton Coldfield this September. The Role

We are looking for a teacher who can bring creativity, warmth and high standards to our Year 2 classroom. In this role, you will:

• Plan and deliver engaging, well‑structured lessons across the Key Stage 1 curriculum
• Support pupils’ academic progress, wellbeing and personal development
• Create a positive, nurturing and well‑organised learning environment
• Work closely with colleagues, support staff and families
• Contribute to the wider life of the school with enthusiasm and professionalism

About You

• Are a qualified teacher (ECTs and experienced teachers welcome)
• Have strong subject knowledge and a passion for Key Stage 1
• Demonstrate excellent behaviour management and organisational skills
• Build positive, supportive relationships with pupils and colleagues

The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
