Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education are thrilled to be working with a busy, welcoming primary school South Birmingham (Balsall Heath), who are seeking a teacher that truly reflects their values. This vibrant school places its pupils at the center of everything they do, ensuring every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to achieve their best. With a strong community spirit and a commitment to nurturing both academic and personal growth, this is a fantastic environment for an enthusiastic teacher to truly make an impact.

Your Role …

As a teacher, you’ll play a central role in shaping an inspiring and engaging learning experience every day. You’ll lead the classroom with confidence while delivering creative, high‑quality lessons that bring learning to life. Alongside this, you’ll work closely with small groups and individual pupils to stretch, support, and motivate them to achieve their best.

You’ll be an active part of the wider school community, contributing your energy and ideas to create a warm, inclusive environment where every child feels valued. From fostering a positive classroom culture to providing emotional and behavioural support when needed, you’ll help build a space where children feel safe, encouraged, and excited to learn.

About You …

To be considered for this role, you’ll need to hold QTS or a PGCE, along with at least three months of experience in a primary school setting — or strong professional experience working with primary‑aged children. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, proactive, and confident in the classroom, with the ability to build positive relationships with both pupils and staff. If you bring enthusiasm, resilience, and a genuine passion for helping children succeed, this school will be a fantastic place for you to shine.
