Learning Support Assistant – Cannock
Zest Education are working with a busy primary special educational needs school located in Cannock to recruit a full-time Learning Support Assistant. This position is due to start February 2023 and will be ongoing until the end of the academic year.
This is a generic special school for students from the age of 2 to 11 years who live in Cannock and the surrounding areas. This is an inclusive school that has the specialist knowledge and skills to meet the needs of children with a variety of special educational needs and disabilities. This includes those with moderate learning difficulties (MLD), severe learning difficulties (SLD), autism spectrum condition (ASC) and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD).
This school’s aim is to provide the highest quality education for all in a caring, supportive, inclusive and vibrant learning environment, within and beyond the classroom. The role will require you to quickly build engaging relationships with small groups of children, and you will need to work closely as a team with the class teacher and other teaching assistants.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
