Nursery Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is seeking a warm, enthusiastic and dedicated Nursery Teacher to support a friendly and welcoming primary school in Tamworth. This is a full‑time role, Monday to Friday, running for the entire academic year, with the potential to extend beyond this period.

This position is perfect for a teacher who loves Early Years but wants a role with no planning workload. All lessons are fully pre‑planned, and the EYFS Lead completes all reports, allowing you to focus entirely on high‑quality teaching, play‑based learning and building strong relationships with children.

About the Role

As the Nursery Teacher, you will:

  • Deliver engaging, play‑centred lessons using a fully pre‑planned curriculum
  • Support children’s early development in communication, language, physical skills and social interaction
  • Create a nurturing, inclusive and stimulating learning environment
  • Work closely with the EYFS Lead and Nursery support staff
  • Build positive relationships with children and families
  • Contribute to a happy, safe and well‑organised Early Years setting

This role is ideal for teachers who enjoy hands‑on, child‑focused practice without the additional pressure of planning or report writing.

  • A well‑resourced Nursery environment
  • A full academic year of consistent work, with potential extension

  • Brings warmth, creativity and strong communication skills
