HLTA

This role is ideal for an HLTA who loves Early Years and enjoys leading learning without the pressure of planning. All lessons and activities are fully pre‑planned by the EYFS Lead, and your main responsibility will be to cover the Nursery class during school hours, ensuring a calm, engaging and supportive environment for young learners.

About the Role

As the Nursery HLTA, you will:

  • Lead the Nursery class using a fully pre‑planned EYFS curriculum
  • Deliver engaging, play‑based learning activities
  • Support children’s early development in communication, language, physical skills and social interaction
  • Maintain a warm, inclusive and stimulating classroom environment
  • Work closely with the EYFS Lead and Nursery team
  • Build positive relationships with children and families
  • Ensure smooth routines and high‑quality provision throughout the school day

This role suits someone who enjoys taking the lead in the classroom while benefiting from a structured, pre‑planned approach.

  • A positive, caring school community
  • A well‑resourced Nursery environment
  • Consistent full‑time hours for the full academic year
