Early Career Teachers (ECT’S)

Zest Education have a close working relationship with several secondary schools in Sutton Coldfield who are looking for Early Career Teachers (ECT’s). Roles required include day to day cover, short-term and long-term placements. Day to day roles are required ASAP with short and long term placements due to start in the new academic year.

General supply teaching enables you to experience different schools before committing to your placement. Supply teaching is flexible to work around you and your commitments, giving you the flexibility to decide which days you want to work.

The successful candidate will have:

• A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
• A strong passion for their subject/s and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
• A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
• The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
• Strong classroom and behaviour management
• Good time management and ICT skills
