Religious Studies Teacher

Job Description

Zest Education is working closely with a school in Small Heath who need a full-time Religious Studies Teacher. This is a permanent role that will be on a full time basis.

The school is extremely supportive and work to maintain an inclusive ethos across all areas. The departmental team offers subject-specific enrichment clubs and organises a range of educational visits throughout the year.

Having a strong team ethos and a commitment to doing the best job possible is essential to succeeding in this role.

The successful candidate will have:

–              A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS

–              A passion for the subject of Religious Education and able to teach the curriculum across KS3 KS4

–              The ability to work in a strong team environment

–              The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons

–              Excellent classroom and behaviour management

Newly qualified teachers (NQT), Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Rate of pay will depend on experience.
