If you’re a Humanities Teacher looking for something new, listen up!

Zest Education is working closely with a secondary school in Telford who need a Humanities Teacher to start in the next academic year. This is a part time role (0.6).

This popular school is full of committed staff who work in harmony with one another, the wider community and parents/carers to ensure that the students are receiving the best possible education to support them throughout school and beyond.

Ideally the school would like the successful applicants to have some experience across the three main disciplines of Humanities: Geography, History and RE.

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for Humanities and excellent subject knowledge across KS4 and KS5 in two of the disciplines
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons (planning and marking only for short/long term placements).
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management
  • Be confident in using ICT
