Job Description

If you are a Food Technology Teacher looking for a new role in September, you have come to the right place!

Zest Education is working with a secondary school in Telford who need a full time Food Technology teacher. The role is due to start in the new academic year.

The school believe that each student should be challenged and supported in order to make the best progress possible.

The ideal candidate will have creative and innovative teaching methods to motivate a range of students abilities.

The successful applicant will have:

  • A PGCE or equivalent UK teaching qualification that has awarded them QTS or QTLS
  • A strong passion for the subject of Food Technology and excellent subject knowledge across KS3 and KS4
  • A team ethos and want to be part of a strong team environment
  • The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality lessons
  • Strong classroom and behaviour management

Rates of pay will vary dependant on experience.

Both newly qualified teachers (NQT) / Early careers teachers (ECT) and experienced teachers will be equally considered for this role.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
