Learning Support Assistant – Rugeley
Zest Education are actively working with a busy special educational needs school in Rugeley who are looking to recruit an innovative Learning Support Assistant. The role is due to start October 2023 until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of further employment.
The school caters for children from the age of five to seventeen with Autism (ASC) and moderate to severe learning difficulties. Due to the needs of the learners, the ideal candidate must have experience supporting individuals with SEND and is confident with their behaviour management.
This is a ‘Good’ rated school which plays significant focus on the development of independent skills. The school ensures there is a high staff ratio, and each class does not exceed nine students. You will be required to work across different rooms and age groups, showing initiative and able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years, teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
