Job Description

Zest Education is working closely with a ‘Good’ Ofsted rated school in the Tamworth area who are in need a Religious Education Teacher. This is a full-time position to start in September. The role is ongoing for the right person.

About the school – Religious Education is the most popular subject at this school with many students taking the subject at GSCE level. The successful applicant will be required to plan and deliver lessons across all key stages, playing an active role within the department working alongside a professional and hardworking team.

Schedule –  Monday – Friday

The successful applicant will have:

  1. A PGSE or equivalent UK teaching qualification awarding them a QTS or QTLS.
  2. A passion for Religious Education and excellent subject knowledge over KS3 and KS4.
  3. The ability to plan, mark and deliver high quality, productive lessons.
  4. Excellent classroom and behaviour management.

Rate of pay will be dependent on experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and recent school-based experience (teaching within a school teaching the British Curriculum).
