KS1 class teacher

Job Description

Are you a dedicated KS1 teacher that is looking for an exciting and new role? If so this is an excellent opportunity for you! Zest Education work with many local schools and offer flexible working meaning a better work-life balance for you are. We are currently looking for the perfect KS1 teachers to go into schools in and around Wednesbury. This will start as soon as possible and be on a part time basis until the end of the academic year.

This role means you will play a vital role in the children’s academic experience so if you are someone that likes to make a difference to children’s lives this is the perfect role for you! It also means that you will have the opportunity to go into different schools giving you the chance to find the perfect school for you.

This role will include you delivering engaging lessons in line with the British curriculum and creating a positive and safe learning environment for the students whilst setting high standards in and out of the classroom. It will also involve you assessing students progression and feeding this back to senior colleagues when necessary.

You will be required to hold an enhanced DBS or be willing to get one and a QTS. The ideal candidate will have relevant experience in a primary school setting and have a passion for working with children and encouraging them to progress.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
