Zest Education, an esteemed education agency, is currently partnering with a delightful school in Castle Vale to recruit a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant for a Year 2 child. This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to make a real difference in a child’s education journey.

Role and Requirements:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant for Year 2, the successful candidate will be responsible for providing tailored support to a specific child, aiding in their academic and personal development. Key responsibilities include:
– Delivering personalized learning activities to meet the child’s educational goals
– Maintaining detailed records of progress and feedback
– Collaborating with teachers and parents to ensure a cohesive support system
– Upholding the school’s values of inclusivity and diversity
– Supporting the child’s emotional well-being and social integration
The ideal candidate should have:
– Previous experience working in a similar role within an educational setting
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– A genuine passion for supporting and nurturing children’s development
– Relevant qualifications in education or child development

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
