Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, is delighted to be working closely with a wonderful school in Marston Green who is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join their team on a full-time basis.

Roles and Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing 1:1 support to a student with specific learning needs, facilitating their participation in classroom activities, and helping them achieve their academic and personal goals. The Teaching Assistant will work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement individualized learning plans, provide emotional support, and promote a positive and inclusive learning environment. Strong communication skills, patience, and a genuine passion for supporting students with diverse needs are essential for this role.
Requirements:
– Relevant experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role
– A Level 2 or 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools (or equivalent)
– Knowledge of special educational needs and experience in implementing individualized learning plans
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work collaboratively with staff, parents, and external professionals
– A positive and proactive attitude towards supporting student welfare and development

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
