Join Zest Education, an award-winning education agency, in collaboration with a wonderful school in Telford, in the search for a dedicated 1:1 Teaching Assistant to start immediately. This part-time position is available until the end of the academic year, offering a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in a supportive educational environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:
– Provide one-on-one support to a student, assisting them with their academic tasks and personal development.
– Implement strategies outlined by the classroom teacher to support the student’s learning and progress.
– Foster a positive and supportive relationship with the student, encouraging their engagement and participation in educational activities.
– Collaborate with the teaching staff and parents to create a holistic support system for the student.
Requirements for Successful Candidates:
– Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
– A genuine passion for working with students and supporting their educational journey.
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and families.
– Flexibility and adaptability to meet the evolving needs of the student and the school environment.
– Relevant qualifications in education or child development are an advantage.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
