Are you a dedicated and passionate individual looking for an exciting opportunity as a 2-1 Teaching Assistant? Zest Education is currently seeking a dynamic and resilient candidate to join a challenging primary school in Castle Bromwich.

As a 2-1 Teaching Assistant, you will have the chance to support the pupils who require additional  support. Your role will involve working closely with the pupils in KS1 providing them with the necessary guidance and assistance they need to thrive academically and emotionally.

Your responsibilities will include supporting the children on a 2-1 basis as well as helping other pupils in the class. This will require excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be collaborating with the classroom teacher, parents, and other professionals involved in the students’ education.

The successful candidate must:

  • Have a basic understanding of the KS1 curriculum.
  • Experience working with children who require additional support is desirable.
  • Have the ability to build strong professional relationships with all pupils and staff members.

This is a full-time position that will start as soon as possible. You will be joining a supportive and inclusive school community that is dedicated to fostering a safe and nurturing environment for both students and staff.

The pay for this role will start at £80 a day for the right candidate, dependent on references and experience.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
