We are currently seeking a dedicated teaching assistant to support children at a wonderful primary school in Rednal. As a TA, you will work in the school’s resource base, catering to a small groups of up to 12 children with additional needs. Collaborating closely with the class teacher and three other TAs, you will provide personalised 1-1 assistance and group support.
Ideal candidates for this role should embody proactive, hard-working, and team-oriented qualities. Reliability and trustworthiness are essential, along with a deep understanding of the significance of nurturing life skills in young learners. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact as it spans the entirety of the academic year. Previous experience within a similar role and understanding of additional needs such as ADHD, Downs Syndrome, Autism and dyspraxia would be advantageous.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
