Primary Class Teacher – South Birmingham


The Role

We are looking for an inspiring and creative Class Teacher to join our dedicated team. Whether you are an Early Career Teacher (ECT) looking for a supportive start or an experienced teacher seeking a new challenge, our school offers a community where your impact is truly valued.

As a Class Teacher, you will take full responsibility for a primary cohort, sparking curiosity and maintaining high standards of achievement through innovative lesson delivery.

What We’re Looking For

    • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or PGCE): A mandatory requirement for this role.

  • Classroom Experience: You must have a proven track record of teaching within a primary school setting (placements included for ECTs).

  • Curriculum Knowledge: Deep understanding of the EYFS, KS1, or KS2 National Curriculum.

  • Ambition: Someone who isn’t afraid to bring new ideas to the table and lead by example.

  • Commitment: A teacher who views education as more than just a job, but a pathway to changing lives.


Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons that cater to a diverse range of learning needs.

  • Assess, record, and report on the development, progress, and attainment of pupils.

  • Collaborate with Teaching Assistants to ensure inclusive support for all students.

  • Communicate effectively with parents and carers regarding their child’s progress.

  • Contribute to the wider life of the school through extracurricular activities or subject leadership (for experienced candidates).
