A school in Hodge Hill are looking for a classroom support assistant to work on a 1-1 basis with a child KS1. This is a long-term role due to start as soon as possible.
The school is a four-form entry busy school which is located in an inclusive community where the school aim to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere where children are able to be both happy and successful. The school staffing structure is always being developed to ensure pupils have support academically, socially, and emotionally allowing children to achieve the highest possible standards.
This role will involve working on a 1-1 basis with the child who needs additional support within the classroom with both learning and behaviour. You must also be able tot set, monitor and review personalised targets for child. Having excellent communication will also be required in order to communicate effectively with the children and other members of staff.
The pay for this role will start from £80 a day.

All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
The role advertised is for temporary supply work.
