Zest education are working with a ‘Good’ Primary School in North Birmingham who are recruiting for an Early Career Teacher (ECT) to cover a Y1 class for the new academic year in September. The school work exclusively with Zest Education and you will only be able to apply for this role through this advert.
The school is two form entry, with a purpose built building allowing access to some of the most advanced resources around. The SLT in the school are well regarded and their dedicated ECT mentor has an incredible reputation for the support that she provides. The school provides a safe and nurturing environment where every child can thrive. It is also a place where they feel safe to be themselves and grow their knowledge and skill. The school has a relentless drive for the children to reach their full academic potential and ensure their social potential flourishes.
The role itself will be covering a Y1 class. You will be supported by a full time Teaching Assistant, as well as receiving vital support from the dedicated ECT Mentor. The role will be for the whole academic year, becoming permanent in January if you pass the first term.

Zest Education are an REC audited agency and are dedicated to safeguarding children. All candidates must hold an enhanced DBS (or allow us to process one for you) and be registered to the DBS Update Service, be able to provide references to cover the last two years and successfully pass all other necessary safeguarding checks prior to clearance for work.
Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
