Zest Education is thrilled to partner with a brilliant school in Lichfield, and we are currently seeking an enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team. This is a full-time position starting from March 2023 and continuing until at least the end of the academic year. The role will require the successful candidate to work Monday to Friday weekly.

Located in the heart of Lichfield, this wonderful school prides itself on creating a warm and nurturing environment for its students. As an Early Years Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the growth and development of the children in your care.

Your main responsibilities will include:
– Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the needs of early years students.
– Providing individualised support to children, ensuring their well-being and promoting their social and emotional development.
– Collaborating with other members of the school staff and parents to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
– Monitoring and documenting children’s progress, identifying areas for improvement and implementing appropriate interventions.

To be successful in this role, you should have a genuine passion for working with young children and a strong understanding of early years education. Relevant qualifications such as a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent would be highly advantageous.The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as you will be working closely with children, parents, and colleagues. You should be patient, compassionate, and have the ability to create a supportive and stimulating environment for the children to thrive.

Salary is dependent on experience, training, or qualifications. The minimum experience, training, or qualifications required for this position are recent school-based experience (within the last 5 years within a school that teaches the British Curriculum) and/or care-based experience within the last 5 years.
